Identity theft is a crime that occurs when your personal identifying information (PII) is used by someone else without your consent. This information could include your name, Social Security number, address, date of birth, credit card, financial and medical account information, driver’s license, or online account information. Yes. Credit monitoring is part of your IDX membership; during the setup process, we will ask you only for information that is already available to the credit bureaus. This information is a security measure used only to confirm your identity.
